SECURITY DOORS

1" Standard Quality Door

Chubb's 1" Standard Quality Door is designed to suit a medium range risk application suitable for securing Book Rooms storing limited amounts of cash and documents. The Door comes equipped with a single UL Listed Group 2, 3-wheel Keyless Combination Lock and a Chubb High Security 9-Lever double-bitted Keylock as standard. Both locks operate independently of each other.

In addition, both locks are in turn protected by a tempered glass relocker system which will activate relockers in the event either lock is attacked. Each relocker is designed to secure itself into solid metal extrusions that form part of an integrated boltwork system in the event it is triggered off, contributing to better burglary resisting qualities of the door.

Each relocker is in turn protected by Chubb drill resistant materials for additional protection against drill attacks. This range is particularly suitable for securing Book Rooms storing limited amounts of cash and essential documents.

Key Features

  • Overall thickness of the Chubb 1" Standard Quality Door is 6" (153mm).
  • The protective layer consists of a 1" (25mm) steel door plate.
  • The Door structure is electrically welded to form a structure of consistent strength.
  • A fire panel is fitted to the back of the door, contributing to better fire resisting properties.
  • The Door is secured by 6 heavy cylindrical steel bolts on the front edge of the door. An additional 6 fixed back bolts secure the back edge of the Door.
  • All bolts are 1 1/4" (32mm) in diameter and are chromed to promote resistance against corrosion.
  • All bolts are linked into a single integrated boltwork system and are encased within a heavy steel lockcase.
  • Optional Grille Gates available. Each Grille Gate is secured using 2 units of Chubb 5-Lever Mortice Deadlocks as standard.
  • Both Door and Grille Gate are coated with a high quality grey primer finish.

Class A Book Room Door

The Chubb Class 'A' Book Room door is designed to suit a medium range risk application suitable for securing Book Rooms storing limited amounts of cash and documents. The relocker is designed to secure itself into solid metal extrusions that form part of an integrated boltwork system in the event it is triggered off, contributing to better burglary resisting qualities of the door.

Each relocker is in turn protected by Chubb drill resistant materials for additional protection against drill attacks.

STRONGROOM DOORS 3.5"

Standard Quality Door

This Door range is suitable for use within a medium security application like for example, securing strong rooms storing cash, valuables, essential documents and confidential materials.

The 3.5" Standard Quality Door is designed as a cost effective solution for better security compared to that provided by High Security Doors but without the restrictive prices of a Vault Room door. This range is suitable for securing strongrooms storing cash, valuables, essential documents and confidential materials.

Key Features

  • Overall door thickness of 8" (203mm) with a protective thickness of 3.5" (89mm).
  • Structure is consistent in strength due to electrical welding.
  • Resistant against jack attacks, oxy acetylene cuttings, high speed drilling or a combination of all of the above.
  • Secured by two 4-wheel UL Group 2 Keyless Combination Locks. Each lock is fitted with a blinder shield for added security.
  • Both locks are protected by Glass Relockers which are in turn are protected by Chubb patented Torch and Drill Resistant (TDR) barrier materials.
  • Secured by 7 front bolts, 2 top bolts, 2 bottom bolts and 7 dead bolts. All bolts are integrated into a single boltwork system.
  • The 3.5" Strongroom Door features a "wrap around the wall" frame fabricated from full-length steel sections electrically welded together to grip the edge of the wall when installled to a strongroom. The 3.5" Strongroom Door comes supplied with an integrated breathing tube secured in the door frame. The breathing tube module features an electric fan to suck in air and an additional opening for easy transfer of food and water.
  • Optional stainless steel cladding available upon request prior to manufacture.

 

VAULTROOM DOORS

A.Vaultroom Doors 4 1/2

This Door range is suitable for use within a high-risk security application for example within financial institutions, cash in transit (CIT) holding facilities, pawn shops and jewelry outlets

The 4 1/2" Vault Room Door is a non-listed grade vault room door manufactured by Chubb Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. This Door is designed to resist a wide range of physical attacks including jack attacks, oxy acetylene cuttings, high speed drilling or a combination of the above.

Key Features

  • Overall door thickness of 9" (229mm) with a protective thickness of 4 1/2" (114mm).
  • Structure is consistent in strength due to electrical welding.
  • Resistant against jack attacks, oxy acetylene cuttings, high speed drilling or a combination of the above.
  • Secured by two 4-wheel High Security Chubb Keyless Combination Locks. Each lock is fitted with a blinder shield for added security.
  • Both locks are protected by Glass Relockers which are in turn protected by Chubb patented Torch and Drill Resistant (TDR) barrier materials. 7 relockers are used in this door.
  • Secured by through length bolts - 7 through bolts, 2 top bolts and 2 bottom bolts. All bolts are integrated into a single bolt work system. The 4 1/2" Vault Room Door features a "wrap around the wall" frame fabricated from full-length steel sections electrically welded together to grip the edge of the wall when installed to a Vault Room.
  • The 4 1/2" supplied with an integrated breathing tube secured in the door frame.
  • The breathing tube module features an electric fan to suck in air and an additional opening for easy transfer of food and water.
  • Optional stainless steel cladding available upon request prior to manufacture.

B.3.5" TDR Vault Room Door
UL 608 Class 1 Door

This range has a thickness of 3 1/2", comprising both a Torch and Drill Resistant (TDR) slab and supplimentary barrier materials. Inner and outer plates of tough steel providing excellent protection against attacks as per listed in Standards UL 608 by hand tools, oxyacetylene torches, fluxing rods, hydraulic tools, impact tools, portable electric drills and tools, power saws and pressure applying devices. The Door has an overall thickness of 8" (203mm).

Boltwork

The Class 1 Main Vault Door is secured by a total of 18 heavy cylindrical bolts comprising 7 front bolts, 7 back bolts, 2 top and 2 bottom bolts securing all 4 sides of the Door. Each bolt has a diameter of 1 1/2" (38mm) and when extended, fit smoothly into individual boltholes.

The general boltwork system is manufactured using rust-resistant steel offering maximum wear resistance against corrosion and prolonging depreciation of working and moving parts. All bolts used in to secured the Door are chrome plated.

Extensions to the boltwork system like the wheel handle have also been designed to deliberately disconnect from the latter should excessive force be applied while turning the wheel handle. Disconnecting the wheel handle from the boltwork system isolates control, making the prospect of securing an entry more time consuming and difficult.

Frame

The unique Chubb "wrap around the wall" frame is used in this Door's manufacture, increasing the holding strength of the Door upon its installation into the vault room wall.

Locking

The Door is secured by 2 units of U.L. Group 2M four wheel keyless combination locks. Blinder sheilds are fitted as standard fittings. Keylocks of the same standard may be used as na alternative. Dial Check Locks may be fitted as optional fittings.

Automatic Relockers

The Class 1 Main Vault Door's are individually protected by a tampered glass relocker system which may active a total of 6 relockers upon attack. The other relockers that run along the bolt mechanism and may be triggered off by, example torch attacks.

Emergency Ventilator

The Chubb Emergency Ventilator is fitted as a standard feature in this Door. It provides fresh air and makes it possible to conduct a two way conversation and supply food and water to anyone who may be trapped inside the room.

Lighting Control and Alarm Microswitch

The microswitch is fitted to control electric light in the vault room. It also serves as a fire precaution to ensure that all wiring within the vault is disconnected when the door is closed. The alarm microswitch allows for the possibility of this Door to be connected to the premise's central alarm system.

Various options are also avalible upon request.

UL 608 Class 2 Door

The main protection is provided via a solid Anti - Arc door slab with supplimentary barrier material amounting to 4 1/2" (114mm). The supplimentary barrier material comprises Chubb's F80 barrier material. The Door is constructed from inner and outer plates of tough steel providing excellent protection against attacks as per listed in UL 608 by hand tools, oxyacetylene torches, fluxing rods, hydraulic tools, impact tools, portable electric drills and tools, power saws and pressure applying devices.
